Donations Needed for Buffalo, MO Repeater

The N0NWS repeater serving Buffalo, Missouri and surrounding areas on 147.180 MHz. (+) PL 136.5 will be losing its tower site. The current repeater antenna location (atop the city’s water tower) is set for demolition and replacement. The cost of removing our equipment from the existing water tower, the potential cost of purchasing new coaxial hardline, a new antenna, and professional equipment installation onto a new tower will need to be covered by Southwest Missouri Regional Skywarn.

The costs for equipment and professional services for all of these repeaters is not covered by the National Weather Service, N.O.A.A., or any other government entity. Southwest Missouri Regional Skywarn is wholly reliant upon its members and volunteers for such funding. Please, donate today to help us keep the Buffalo Repeater on the air following the city’s water tower replacement. Click here or on the “Donate” buttons found on this Website to make your pledge of support today. Thank you!
